Maritime Barrel Racing Association

Racing around the Maritimes since 1990

.
For 35 years, the Atlantic Ram Dealers have stood alongside the Maritime Barrel Racing Association, showing a level of commitment as enduring as the sport itself. Just as our riders depend on their horses, our members have come to value the Ram brand for its trust, reliability, and strength. This long-standing partnership has helped shape the MBRA community, and we are truly grateful for the support that continues to drive us forward.

We are proud to celebrate this milestone year as the 35th anniversary of their sponsorship with MBRA.

Q

Our Objective

The MBRA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting western speed events, particularly barrel racing, throughout the Maritimes.

We seek to improve the skill & ability of speed event competitions by providing events with adequate prize money, by organizing clinics with expert instructors and encouraging breeding & training horses specifically for speed events.

Our History

The MBRA, First known as the Maritime Gymkhana Association, was formed in 1985 by a small group of horsemen who wished to organize and promote their sport. Since their humble start they have grown from 12 to 120+ members.
